Neon Drift Rush
★★★★☆ 4.1
Neon Drift Rush isn't a simulation and never pretends to be. It's pure arcade: lean into corners, hold the drift, chain your boost and chase that perfect lap. The tracks are neon-soaked loops that feel like a synthwave album cover come to life.
The controls are tilt or tap, and I preferred tapping — tilt felt twitchy on a bigger phone. Once I got the drift timing down, the game opened up. Nailing a long slide into a boost is genuinely thrilling, and the ghost-car system lets you race your own best runs.
It's a great pick-up-and-play title. Races are short, the car unlocks come at a fair rate, and there's no energy system gating how much you can play. My only gripe is the soundtrack gets repetitive after a while.
What we liked
- Satisfying drift-and-boost loop
- Short races, no energy gates
- Fun ghost-car time trials
